The initial articulation of the Virtue School (Mission and Project) — including visions of self-sufficient communities and education in harmony with nature — is one possible expression of this orientation. It is not the model.
There must be many visions. Because:
Nous cannot be standardized
Learning evolves rather than repeats
Human realization takes different forms in different contexts
Because no single form can contain what is living
---
One expression of this vision may be ecological, practical, and rooted in the land.
Another may take shape in an existing school, a workshop, a garden, a studio, a classroom, or a community.
The deeper aim is universal: a living pedagogy that can be practiced anywhere.
